The Cluetrain Manifesto by Locke, Searls, Wineberger
This is the bible of blogging, the ideas presented in this book provide the basis for blogging as a communication tool. It suggests that companies attempt to stop bombarding customers with one way information and instead try to engauge customers in two way conversation that will lead to better relationships between large companies and their customers
Naked Conversations by RobertScobel and Shea Israel
This book carefully analyses the way in which blogs have allowed companies such as Microsoft to reconnect with customers after developing such a negative image in the recent past. It also looks at enabling techmlogies such as RSS and thier role in the growth of blogging
The cult of the amature by Andrew Keen
This book should provide a useful counterpoint so the two books listed above, it has jst been published and the author believes that the growth in blogging and social internet sites in general is causing. He believes the scale of uninformed blogsĀ will swamp the useful information available on the internet.
